Elizabeth McGrady was a marketing major, graduating in 1985 from the University of Maine. After years in the hospitality field and property management she then spent a decade in the insurance industry. She created her own successful ongoing business as a Professional Organizer in 2001. She obtained a certificate as a Life Coach in 2007.
Elizabeth established Angel Files in 2012 after witnessing many families struggling after the death of a loved one. She knew her combined skills as a Professional Organizer and Life Coach would be useful in helping people with end of life and after death planning. She created this comprehensive system for leaving a legacy.
Elizabeth resides in Portland, Maine with her husband Jim Ohannes where they love raising their daughter Mary. Elizabeth enjoys beautifying their home to welcome friends and family. She has an active lifestyle through all seasons and considers herself a life long learner. While her expertise is organizing and planning, Elizabeth continues her efforts to live fully in the moment.
Elizabeth knows sorrow first hand. Her mother died at a young age. She strongly believes her program will not only add depth and texture to remembrance but will also ease the weight of grief for survivors.
